Tristan Miller



Tristan acts for companies and individuals in complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters, with experience in estates, insolvency, letters rogatory, and administrative law. He also represents individuals and organizations in matters that involve LGBTQ2S+ legal issues.

He has represented clients in actions at all levels of court in British Columbia, and regularly appears in Chambers on a variety of applications.

Prior to joining BLG, Tristan had a broad litigation practice at a Western Canadian firm.


  • The Owners, Strata Plan BCS 435 v. Wong, 2020 BCSC 1972 - Successfully defended a tribunal decision invalidating a strata bylaw for violating privacy law. The case set the standard of review to be applied to future decisions of the Civil Resolution Tribunal when considering strata matters.
