Mohit Sethi



Mohit is an associate in the Competition & Foreign Investment Review group, advising clients on a range of issues across all industries.

He advises clients on merger notifications under the Canadian Competition Act; provides strategic advice to corporations regarding compliance matters; conducts regulatory risk assessments for merger arbitrage investments; and advises non-Canadian investors on Canadian foreign investment issues under the Investment Canada Act.

Mohit's practice includes class actions involving competition claims. His litigation experience further extends to broad commercial litigation and banking litigation.

Mohit summered and articled with BLG before returning as an associate. During law school he was a legal intern at Canada's largest e-commerce company, a technology law intern at Innovation, Science, and Economic Development Canada, and a research fellow at the Centre for Law, Technology and Society.

Mohit is fluent in Hindi.

  • Various private equity firms in regulatory risk assessments for merger arbitrage opportunities
